Mermaids; Myth or Reality?
Last weekend i watched a mockumentry about how mermaids
could exist in the depths of our oceans. It was a bit far-fetched but at times
the show had some really good points that could be believable. One point that
they brought up was an evolution theory that some ancestors of ours made camp
near sea and soon evolved to adjust to life at sea. Seemed pretty legit since
they brought up some true facts about us humans. How some villages in the south
have evolved to see better in dark murky waters, another point they brought up
was how people can free dive and hold their breath for about twenty minutes at
a time. But after the theory part, everything else seemed kind of far-fetched,
including the "real" footage that some kids had of a "real"
mermaid. You could obviously tell that the "mermaid" was computer
animated and that the boys were really bad actors when they spoke to the
camera. Mean less to say it was a good show to pass time, but i think that
National Geographic should probably put actual documentaries about REAL things.
