March Break In Canada

My March break was honestly the most boring week I’ve had this year, and it was supposed to be a BREAK FROM SCHOOL! My friends were all away for the break, whether it be Newyork, England, Florida, or Cuba... I sat around and did nothing for the week we had off. My work didn't even schedule me for shifts. "Why didn’t you go outside and do something productive?" you ask? Because it was Rainy, wet, muddy and simply miserable outdoors the entire week. This is the reason I'd like to give my opinion on the time March break is placed on the calendar.
Of course in the southern U.S. you have spring break and it is gorgeous because of the time of year in that part of north America.

Citizen Kane - Pespective of a modern Student

CITIZEN KANE - PUT INTO PRESPECTIVE

Presented to me in my media studies class was the film
Citizen Kane, it wasn't quite a Michael Bay movie, but
for a 1941 film it kept me enticed and interested. It
honestly is one of the only black and white films other
than "To Kill a MockingBird" that I have wanted to
continue watching and has kept me from falling asleep.
Although it had its strenuous dialogue filled scenes, it was still, with the music, action, and story line the most modern 1940's film you'll ever see.   The best thing to do before you watch his film is research up on the actually story, (yes it is based off some real events, which is why it stirred up some controversy).

The real story is based upon a man named William Randle Herste (played by Orson welles) , a millioaire news paper owner that changed the world of media, his 1920's era paper "the inquirer" is the reason angelina jolies weight is more important than starvation and murder.  This movie was Almost shut down during its time, yet it lived, and thrust itself into the position of practically one of the best films of all time.
